New York City is a city of endless possibilities for a photographer. In this shoot all in the same day, we started in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, made our way through Central Park and Times Square, crossed the Brooklyn Bridge, and ended up in the Brooklyn district of DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass).

I was super fortunate to have the opportunity to photograph this engagement session for this power couple prior to their graduation and big move to the suburbs of the Midwest. Like them, Shana and I also moved to the suburbs, but all the way to the West Coast where we continue our adventures today. We strive to maintain that “New York spirit” in our family photoshoots, combing from one beautiful backdrop to the next in California’s capital city with its own majestic riverfront!
